DR-YALAXOW, well then, I don't have much to say. If you'd like, you may also rant about the opium/heroin trade.

A1:I see what you mean bro, laakiin all the info we got for Alexanders life are from sources that are vile and deviant in their reporting anyway.I mean these are the people that say Isse (as) was the son of god.Or that Ya'qub-Isreal (as) fought god and won.Or that Solomon (as) had a thousand wife
So why beleive anything from sources that have no substance anyway
P'S I'm not saying that Alexander the great was Dulqarnain.just that it's good to keep an open mind

I think there's a striking difference between keeping an open mind and looking for connections to boast about. Why not keep an open mind about Isa (as) having shah with Buddha? I'm all for open-mindedness, you should know akh, but not when it comes to the deen. Valid evidence is all I take in.
And no, I didn't suggest you believed this, and that wasn't my intent. Just responding to other posts in the thread.

qadiani ahmadiya, yes a non mulsim technically..seemeyer wrote:Gurey when you say Abdullah yusuf Ali was an Ahmediyagurey25 wrote:Alexander the great was not dhulqarnain.. this idea started with yusuf ali the ahmadiya Pakistani translator of the quran, and even he said it was a wild guess...
.
Do you mean the Qadiani Ahmediyya (considered kafirs)
Or the Lahore ahmediyya (considered fasiq)
I read his take on Dulqarnein been Alexander the great
He gave a convincing argument and even said that there is ikhtilaf among the Ulema
in this issue
But this has no bearing on this issue at all...
There is no need for ulema to get invoved because this is beyond their scope, they are not like the ulema of the past when they considered everything and studied all.
Today they are narrow minded, and not capable of discussing issues outside of fiqh..
There is only one reference to alexander and it is from 1 person only, and that person said it was just wild conjecture on his part.
so lets throw this Alexandra business away , stop insulting dhulqarnain....
alexanders life is well known and documented, he was a bisexual macedonian , just like the majority of his people and was an idoltarar, infact worse because he believed he was a god too..
