Ruunti I am talking merely from a UK prespective, where we have MP's that will come to the masjid only during election time, canvas for Muslim votes and then vote across party lines to make Muslim peoples life even harder, both at home and abroad. If I honestly was going to ever vote i'd probably judge the candidate on merit and those that are most alligned with my personal beliefs as opposed to him just being Muslim. As proven time and time again Muslim mp's dont do shid for muslims.FAH1223 wrote:The other Muslim congressman, Andre Carson, voted No*Nobleman* wrote:Thats exactly why I dont show muslim politicians love. You can't paint everyone with the same brush bro! Stuff isn't as black and white as they seem.

You know what they say, everyone has their favorite dictator. When evidence and accusation suggest both are very similar.Enlightened~Sista wrote:Voltage, would you have supported such an intervention to topple the dictator Mohammed Siad Barre?
good point. i dont think he is supporting dictator ghadaffi but he doesnt want others who have different agenda than rebels, not necessary care about the innocent people, who involved it.gurey25 wrote:down with all brutal dictators.
Seemyer if you support Qaddafi against the rebels, you should apologize for being against siyad barre..
Wallahi you karbaashed this uncle tomSkippa wrote:I see that you're besides yourself but there's no need to throw a fit brother, From what I understood of your little rant about justice, you're saying that the innocent life lost in Tripoli this past week from Nato's bombardment was to save the one that Qaddaffi may have killed (had Nato not intervened) or is it to atone for the countless ones he took over the past forty years. A just war is synonymous with jihaad. Therefore, Nato's campaign in Libya being
would make its forces a bunch of Mujahideensan obligation...religiously speakingNo wonder your so quick to anger. the hubris of an empty mind.
I'm just about bored with this little buryo measuring contest that passes for a battle of wits. A good night to you brother

No, and here is why. Was Siad Barre an autocrat towards the end of his reign? Yes. Could people have legitimate reasons for fighting against him? Yes. However, when you had SSDF (Majerten), SNM (Isaaq), USC (Hawiye), etc fighting against him on tribal basis then that outcome would be clear, it is an internal fractious matter that should not be interfered with. Anytime you see people advocate for their nation on a sectarian basis, then they would try to govern in a sectarian manner which would lead to instability and maybe even something worse than the autocrat.Enlightened~Sista wrote:Voltage, would you have supported such an intervention to topple the dictator Mohammed Siad Barre?
