It doesn't get better than this. Locutus of Borg. Damn good.

And yes, Q is easily one of the best sci-fi characters, with a great actor behind great writing. And yes, the writing of Star Trek: TNG beats most other shows, sci-fi or not. But I think the writing starts to get slouchy around season3-4. The Data (my fav' fictional character) bits in season 2 got me teary-eyed. Damn good, indeed.

The holographic doctor from Voyager, and the cardassian taylor from DS9 (can never remember his name) are my two favorite characters.

The Doctor was great, very witty and sarcastic. I totally loved it.
I'd try to name other character's I love but I'd end up dropping half the staff of all the series.

But nothing tops this....



I think discussions like this would be impossible without Data, which makes him my most valued character. His trial really hit me hard. Although, the whole debate about the creation of life, and what it really means ... lol, this might need a thread on its own.
