I'm afraid u are celebrating prematurely. Al Shabaab hasn't been defeated, they have just changed strategy. They can't take AMISOM head on in the front lines so they are going back to 2007 strategies that they used against Ethiopia.

If this is true than Al Shabab has basically blundered themselves, outside of the Cities there is no Place to hide from heavy Artillery. If the TFG has the Capital in full control, than Aid specifically Miltary will flow in and the major Aid Agencies will come. The Only place they can hide would be in Kismaayo.

That is if the TFG can actually pacify and control Xamar first. I wouldn't be surprised if random clan militias start cutting territory again.

AMISOM will not try to capture the whole country, they don't have the manpower and Al Shabaab can route Somali militias.

AMISOM Does not need to capture the whole country, a Trained Somali Army that is disciplined can take on and Defeat Al Shabab very easily. If am not mistaken they have suffered heavy losses in Gedo from Militia's who are not even properly trained. As for Clan Militias i highly doubt Somalia will ever go back to that again. Everything has changed. I still stay without Mogadishu Al Shabab is done for. Their Last stand will be in Kismaayo and the Jungles in the deep south. They have lost all credibility with their actions regarding the Famine and even going as far as banning Sambus.

Great development but the TFG will not be able to take advantage. TFG never takes advantage of these oppritunities when they arise and always drop the ball. They will continue to do stunts like murder famine victims, mooryaanism etc. until the people beg for shishkabab again..then when they get sick of shiskhabab the tfg will get another oppritunity and it goes in circles and circles. I've never since the TFG inception seen them capitolize on oppritunities. Abdullahi Yusuf/Geedi Had Ethiopia capture virtually the entire south for them at one point yet, they ended up being boxed into mog with 30,000 Eitho troops.

Heck am not even from Somalia and i fully supported the fight against Ethiopia. If there is one thing that unites Somali's is the hate for Habesha. There are no Habesha this time and Zoomali's need to take this opportunity.

I strongly disagree. Ethiopians were saints compared to some Somali factions. During the Ethiopian intervention, I and many here supported their presence against two-faced snakes like Sheikh Shariif and his disobedient child-soldiers-turned-enemies.
