The man is supposed to be bigger than the woman for protection but really most women just want a man who can carry them.

WEARING HIGH HEELS IS HARAM
Xaliimo. WEARING HIGH HEELS IS HARAM. This is something I have banned my wife from for a very long time.
Wearing high heels is not permissible because it exposes women to the risk of falling, and we are commanded in sharee’ah to avoid danger in a general sense,
as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And do not kill yourselves”
[al-Nisa’ 4:29]
“and do not throw yourselves into destruction”
[al-Baqarah 2:195]
It also makes women look taller than they really are and makes their posteriors appear more prominent, and this is a kind of deception and showing the adornments which the believing woman is forbidden to show,
as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam)”
[al-Noor 24:31]
From Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, Majallat al-Buhooth, 9/46.
Moreover, it also makes a woman lean forward (maa’ilah ila al-amaam), so there is the fear that the warning issued to those women who walk with an enticing gait (al-maa’ilaat al-mumilaat) may apply to her too [in the hadeeth which says that such women will never even smell the fragrance of Paradise from afar]. It also harms the back, as has been proven medically. The heels also make a sound which attracts the attention of men and is a temptation to them. We ask Allaah to keep us all safe and sound.
HIGH HEELS SHOULD BE BANNED AND DISCOURAGED BY ALL MUSLIM WOMEN.

Men are attracted to certain type of women too.
We are humans.

IronSheik - If I dont understand something obviously I'm ganna ask for the meaning in the languages I understand.. Dont come here to show off your knowlegde *that's how your coming across*.. If your here trying to 'educate' us marka.. Be sincere.. You're coming off as a show off *just saying*IronSheik wrote: Westldnshawty? What do you mean english or somali? Plus dont just assume someone knows the meaning.. And why didn't you type it in the ARABIC scripter rather than the latin one.. Since you clearly stressed its importance...

Re: Why is it a taboo for a somali girl
Sorry walal cafis I am a intense person but some people need to be attacked to learn but it is a downside and a mistake cafis I didn't mean it. I am on a western keyboard I can't right arabic. But anyway read this my sister in islam:
The magnificent phrase lâ hawla wa lâ quwwata illâ bi Allâh is mentioned numerous times in the hadith (sayings of Muhammad) as being highly regarded and highly recommended by the Prophet Muhammad. The phrase is a part of daily prayers for many Muslims, and is a common phrase in ceremony and dhikr.
It is not uncommon to find the phrase lâ hawla wa lâ quwwata illâ bi Allâh translated simply as there is no power or strength except through Allâh. However that translation fails to capture the grandeur and deeper significance of this magnificent phrase.
Translating the word hawla simply as power is an over-simplification. The Arabic root h-w-l depicts all manner of change and transformation. The root h-w-l has led to a wide variety of words, but they all share this common thread of change and transformation. Certainly it is true that transformation and change require power, but power alone is not an adequate translation.... change and transformation are the keys to this magnificent phrase.
The phrase may be translated word-by-word as:
lâ = no, not, none, neither
hawla = change, alteration, transformation, movement, motion
wa = and
lâ = no, not, none, neither
quwwata = strength, power, potency, force, might, vigor
illâ = but, except, if not
bi = with, to, for, in, through, by means of
Allâh = Arabic name for the Supreme Being
Progress is only achieved through change and transformation... and spiritual progress requires the highest degree of change and transformation. We may wish to change, but we alone do not have the power to make such changes.
Such change and transformation can only occur through the tahwîl (transformation) of Allâh. That is to say, true change and transformation can arise only through the awesome and glorious powers of Allâh.
Here are some literal translations of the phrase lâ hawla wa lâ quwwata illâ billâh that incorporate the idea of change and transformation:
There is neither change nor power except by means of Allâh.
There is no transformation or strength except through Allâh.
There is neither progress nor might except through Allâh.
May Allah forgives all our sins and guide us all to the right path. Ameen
