The opening remark about leaping out of my window was a foray into humour. My real concern is whether it is ethically justifiable to harvest an organ with the end in view to save lives if a person with a matching blood type does not consent. They lose nothing because one only needs a single kidney to flourish and somebody else gets a new lease of life.

Boqor, your rejoinder to my opening post was scientifically unsound abti. Not any jaad stained qaxooti can donate organs to others. There has to be a crossmatching in blood and tissue type. Like I noted, the man with the knee surgery was a good fit.

More widely, I seek to know whether on a philosophical plane it is ethical for a physician to defy medical rules and save a life by transplanting a kidney from a person who does not need two kidneys to a dying girl where donor consent cannot be secured if the net result is a life saved. Can you get academic for a moment and put down your pork and ham sandwich? Mashallah.

if it happened to me and i discovered one of my kidneys missing and this doctor tried to explain it to me..
I would understand, i would sympathize ..

but it wont stop me from forcing him to donate all his organs...
I will redeem their monetary value, someway or another...

If the unlucky bastard happens to have damaged organs or something that makes them worthless, like the use of chemotherapy..
I will have to take more drastic measures..

the enquiry about the health was directed at the doctor that just took my organ without permission.
I wanted to know if his organs are healthy enough to sell..

if they are i will pay a visit to the poor patient of his, offer my congrats on his recovery and good luck wishes
while i arrange a meeting with some organ smugglers to fence the doctors organs for me on the market.
