I agree. Priority should be gives to roads in red on the map. Because they link Somalilands major city with eachother.

This clan road to Djibouti is of the many outcomes from the 'secret clan' gathering held by some subclans from HA.

The Minister of Finance is head of this project and his nephew is chair of the commission and putting millions of Goverment money in to it. Guess which individuals owns the land that will be traded for a lot of money surrounding this road?


The erigavo, Oodweyne, dhahar, borama to zeylac roads are much more needed by the people of Somaliland. The goverment should invest these millions in these roads. not a road to nowhere.

Why build a road to another country when our own towns and cities are not fully connected. I understand ethiopia maybe due to the exchnage but djibouti is a waste of money for now. We must work inside the country. This is a Habar awal intrest not a somaliland one.

Some individual business men own a lot of cheao dry land there. And if the goverment builds a road then they will earn millions. Imagine that every small jaggo will go from 50 or 100 dollar to 3000 dollars or even more.
