The number of somalis smoking Shisha or hookah are way up

MOST OF MY GIRLFRIENDS GO TO THE SHISHA SPOT EVERY SATURDAY.

Do you smoke with your friends? for me girls who chew khat and girls who smoke are all pretty disgusting, I told my friend who is respiratory care practioner in few years he will get a lot of Somali patients unless we as community do something about this shisha epidemic.

EWWW I DON'T SMOKE THAT STUFF! UFFF! THE SMOKE MAKES ME DIZZY.
I WENT TO A SHISHA SPOT FOR THE SECOND TIME TWO WEEKS AGO. I SURPRISED TO SEE SOME XALIMOS FROM MY HIGH SCHOOL YEARS THERE.

I'm warning you it usually starts with simple innocent visit to shisha place.

hookah use among Somalis, both sexes, is rapidly increasing in everywhere. according to every doctor and health organizations like mayo clinic indicate that hookah smoking is more dangerous than cigarettes. some people mistakenly smoke hookah thinking that, because of the pipe and the water, it is less dangerous than smoking cigarettes.

i don't smoke hookah nor cigarettes and i hope those who do to quit for the sake for their health.
