Ethiopia commits abuses against the Somalis because we let them, therefore we should join them???
I really don't see the logic behind that. If their own indigenous Somali population in Ethiopia is routinely subjected to collective punishment, summary executions, mass rape, ethnic cleansing and every other war crime in the book, how would things change if we were to voluntarily submit to Ethiopian overlordship? If the entire argument is about ending Somalia's current state of suffering, how would voluntarily choosing to enter a new state of suffering change things for the better? How would trading Somali oppressors for Ethiopian opressors end oppression?
