You are wanting to limit Islam 7th century. You are in effect making Islam irrelvant to the 21st century. Do you want Islam to be viewed as an out of place medieval relic?

Progressive Islam is the only way forward.

I am not denying that Islam has an eternal message. I’m simply saying that the Islam of the 7th century will not be replicated exactly in the 21st century. Is that really so impossible and unreasonable?

@union, my position is pretty simple. I don't care about anybody else Allah is pretty clear in his Book what he expects out of Muslims, but if you decide to follow your own path, that is between you and Him.
