I think its good that U girls want small amout of kids .. well the most of U

somali women back then ..had waay to much kids .. its unhealthy --- my grandmom gave birth to 9 human beigns mashallah

but now women have to get working and educated ... no more sit at home and pop out children like crazy

Back then, women could have as many kids, 'cause they didn't have to work, plus family members (mom, sister, aunt, ayeeyo, etc) helped with raising kids, cooking, washing clothes, etc. Today, those in the West (like you), can't have as many kids, 'cause you have to work. Back then, life was very easy for women.

If they lived together on average 30-50 years, how come they didn't have 30-50 children? The most they had over the course of the lifetime was 10-12 children. Before the pills, there were other traditional contraceptive methods.

^ Qoraxey? Did you not know there were methods that people used to avoid having kids? One type is abstinence, so the husband does not go to his wife at all, another was he only goes to her 3 weeks before her time of the month, and another was avoiding ejaculating into the uterus so as to not make her pregnant.
