AW, how do you see the culmination of the recent incursions? Do you believe there is any possible way to defeat AS with foreign troops? Also will the TFG survive past this summer?

Yes foreign troops can crush AS. The problem is it will take a strong Somali partner on the ground to administer the newly liberated territory and prevent AS from coming back.

TFG is Too Far Gone (TFG) and will survive but be recomposed into a smaller, leaner organization (150 man parliament, 10 cabinet Ministers). Sharif Sakin and Sharif Ahmed will be gone after August 2012.

Even as someone who does not pay attention much to Somalia Politics i can pretty much confidently say those two aint going no where.
