If you're mixed, ethnically, you're hybrid. However, if you're raised by a Somali mom, you're more Somali than one raised by a non-Somali mom. It's mom who teaches language, culture, traditions, etc to her children. Being Somali has more to do with how/who raised you than ethnicity.
