They cannot rap to save their lives so I cant even give them credit for that. :| I have to say, some rap is meaningful, some not so much. I dont want to get into a music dicussion but I do not like what they are promoting amoungst the Somali youth.

It is upto the Somali community and Somali youth to shun the dogs amoungst us. We must not allow our community to be infiltrated by the deviant criminal, gang and drug culture that the afr-carribean community has imported into the UK. Walahi if we do, it is not long before some young off-the rails kids are dhaqan celis and before you know it we see this disgusting culture back home (there are examples of this and you can PM me if you want details).

I have to say though 1MS, there is a large proportion of the Somali youth doing good things. I am 100% confident that as time goes on especially in the next 5 years or so, as the first generation of migrant children go into adulthood, a lot more Somali success stories will be more visible on the national and international stage.

anon, the real work starts at home, before you can get to the wider community you must make sure all those you come contact with on daily basis are well looked after; if you can get that sorted then i believed goodness will trickle down to the community as a whole

i stay busy with ilmaha aa abtiga iyo adeerka u'ahey before mine could come insha allah i got to sort their cousins out because they will their role models

green, am actually very optimistic about Somalis in general but still i'm very observent and its hard to not see all the messed up things in our community;

Everyone with a camera phone is making a rap video now...still, this kid from Ottawa is decent compared to most Somali youtube sensations

You made a cameo in this vid soma'aha? Never heard of this guy and I've lived here my whole life.

Walle iyo bille these kids are lucky they showed up when the rap game isn't saying much. Imagine if Youtube was out in '94 and these dudes posted their vids then. Bunch of jokes.

^ LOL I'm done. Duulisana kan.
LOL naaah never that...if I made a cameo in that vid, it would already be on BET

The kid in the video's name is "Chris Varsity"...he's from the South and his brothers are those Somali bodybuilder dudes (there ain't too many so you probably know who I mean )

LOOOOL @ the vid...I'm dead serious, that's quite possibly the WORST video I've ever seen in my life. Top 3 at least.

Yungnfresh,

Lol u know khalid?? He's a solid guy, he's a good hearted person I hope him all the success,

I honestly think the biggest losers are Somalis in the UK. All you require is a 1 week visit to London to see what a mess this community is. They r the definition of animals.

Most don't work. Most don't go to school. They survive off welfare. Respect can only be given to the hard working to the Somali fathers who opened up internet cafes to earn a living to feed their families. Other than that, people there are more or less worthless and hopeless. They chew khat all day. The kids r all street wandering losers. Every family there ends up having that one child that ends up being a terrorist. And many ppl there are qabiil minded who wear the name of their clan on their tshirts. Also, the majority of their friends r ppl from their clan.

Is it honestly so hard to get a job at ASDA instead of being animals?

We need to make dua for the Somalis in the UK.

They r beyond animals.
