How do you "date" someone? That variable has yet to be defined.

What if it was all online? Or is that even possible. What if, the discussion came up online, but another person unknowingly intervened? What if that person intervened, in person? How do you know if you have an ex haha?

At what point are you certain that this person is "yours"? Is it only when their is a clear and outwardly stated intention that the conversation is geared toward marriage? What if it is online, and someone else unknowingly intervenes, and approaches you openly with the same subject? What if one person thinks you are "theirs", but you had no idea?
