Cagdheer iyo ilkoyarba soo darood ma aha? this thread confirms how us ogaden have expanded to ajnabi lands. Ethiopia and kenya. While the rest of somalis were eradicating each other over lands in somalia, ogaden was massacring english, italians, kenyans and hooyadii wase xabashi. much respect to my nomad, fearless awoowes.

Seriously I gotta quit debating with liars and fakers; why do you want to photoshop a map that is on the world wide web. Don't you know these are public records that everyone with internet can access. Where is Baardheere in that picture? Whose is under? Where is Sarinleey in the picture? Who is it under? Tuug la qabtay talo maleh. Here is the actual picture Beenaale Xaare waaxid

Here is the website:
http://www.jstor.org/stable/1778725?seq=2
The author says "We crossed numerous weatercourses, in most of which the water was actually running , and of which the most important are the Dar (the boundary between Aulihan and Marehan), the Denla, the Dabloi, the the streams at Abu Madert, near Humbali hill, and the Aras.
Do you know where Humbaali is or where the Darta is? I knew that Warsamae Beenaale kid would convince these kids to believe in lies and propaganda.
I can't beleive that he would have the audacity to photoshop pictures and maps on the WWW. What a wasted soul. Notice how the picture is solely soomed into Gedo; as it doesn't show Jubooyinka and yet the Cawlyahan are sitting on Baardheere, Sarenli and all the way to Humbaali.

Inamad yaryar waxay doonayaaan inay taariikh dhacday badalaan. Si fiican baad yeesha. This ought to teach him to be truthful in his future debates. It is a fact no somali clan fought for somaloa as we did. But instead of thr deserved credit we get negation off our own history as a thank you. What does that have to do with 2011?
Guhad sxb, at that time my grandfather (mom's dad) was born in Wardheer, 2005 he died in Beled-Xaawo. My other grandfather (dad's dad) was born in Khelaafo, in 2003 my father moved him from Baardheere to Nukuru, Kenya. Times change, move on. Cawlyahan and Absame lived in parts of Gedo, today they don't. That doesn't mean they are not allowed because people move in from civil war, everyone will be free to settle where. But during civil war, the places in question today are Afmadoow district and Kismaayo.
Here he goes with another round of buufis.

LOL @ accusing somebody of photshopping a map, when infact your the one that photocoppied the map. Neither do you even bring a source from where you brought that map from.
Enjoy and wind down to the reality:

In June 1910 the British established a defensive post at Serenli, four miles north of Bardera. The local Marehan tribe was truculent and had to be treated as a threat, so the post was built on a small hill overlooking the river. An outer zareba (a perimeter hedge constructed from thorny bushes and branches) with machine-gun emplacements built into it surrounded the post.
gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/32143-jubaland/Between December 1913 and May 1914 a large operation named the Marehan Patrol was mounted against the Marehan tribe in Jubaland. Companies from 1 KAR (from Nyasaland, now named Malawi), 3 KAR and 4 KAR (from Uganda) took part but there was no decisive outcome. The Marehan took advantage of weak British garrisons in Jubaland during the Great War to overrun and capture Serenli in 1916, killing the British garrison commander and 35 of his Askari.
Throughout Somali history we see the pattern and the ways of Somali tribes, but I don't understand why some people would like to make up stuff in order to feel great? Reality check dude!

I actually agree with Shirib, the topic was ruined and I would say Guhad started. Why does this guy believe Ogaden glory lies in demonizing Marehan? Nobody attacked a clan or started fadhi ku dirir before he commented and after he did, well the whole point was lost.

This guy is really a joker , He does not know that Wardhey (oromo/orma) were original inhabitants of Jubaland and NFD. Tell me then where your so called Darood came from did they just drop from the sky? and if so where are those supposed clans you are talking about? I know for sure Raxaweyn did leave around Baidoa and Bardhere during that time.sahal80 wrote:i know ogadeens fought againist the bantu of jubba, however, the darood or ogaaden have never fought againist gaal madoow oromo as they claim wich they are mistaking them with the rahanweens of bakool and gedo if that is true then marehan and ogadeen would have been nighbours to oromo because west of gedo in kenya is ajuuraan, dagodia and garre lands from ceelwaaq
The Ajuran,Degodia are recent settlers. The Ajuran dispersal happened when they were Banished from Qalafe their last strong hold. While Degodia moved from Liban region and started settling in the region after benefiting from the inter Darood wars. As for Garreh then they are early settlers no doubt.
But tell me any account that shows how the non Darood group even rose against the British occupation.

Voltage,
How did I start this? When you ask your kins to stop the propaganda, then there wouldn't be anything to argue about. Why would Warsame photoshop pictures to cleanse entire clans from the WWW web? If he can do it on the web, we have to believe that he would do it in real life if opportunity presents itself.
Unlike XimanXaare, you seem to be educated, at least in your writings, and it would be wise for your clan to stop the propanganda. Baardheere, Sarinleey and and all the way to Humbaabale and Faafax-Dhuun used to be Cawlyahan land; why are you denying that? Accept the facts?
Did you see how they removed Auliyahan from his map?
What an ignorant boob? If he knows how to read, the author actually mentions that he started his trip into Marehan country from Sarinleey and hired 100 camels from the Cawlyahan natives in Sarinleey. I think it is time for you and your brother and all other Ilka-Yars nation folks including the Rasta man Advo to put Warsame feeble mendacities into stop. It aint gonna take the clan anywhere.
Here is the latest Western documented map of Gedo then Ultra Jubba prior to the independence of Somalia:

I always wondered of the far stretches of land the Ogaden inhabit. They must have been pushing other tribes into oblivion since the first day they came into being.
