Yasir Qaadhi's a goon who's one of those who have turned da'wah and deen into an industry, fueled by eager college aged youth who are simply trying to cope with an identity crisis they've been handed, given their upbringing in the west.

Sara,

People will be grouped by their sins, by their good deeds, with whom they loved, how they died, the amount of knowledge they had, by their intentions...

there are many groups.

There's a good discussion going on, please continue.

If I may butt-in, I get the feeling that if a speaker or scholar doesn't consider himself as a salafi he'll be refuted by we know who.

People who follow Salafiiyah even more closely than certain groups of folks will be refuted, by said group.

Are you claiming that Abu Khadeejah is not upon Salafiyyah?

everyone in ahlul sunnah wal jama'a claims to follow salafiyyah but I know what you mean. To be honest I have relatives who are salafi, I've been to their main masjid in the west (Birmingham uk) plenty of times and the ones with manners and a brain are Mashallah the most honest brothers around, however you also have those who are over zealous, blindly follow (quite ironic) and they'll even let you know that they believe they are the saved sect out of the 72/73 which I find extremely arrogant.

The "saved sect". I don't know of a group that hasn't claimed it.
