Toronto used to have a particular ring to it, but even then it came from 90s hiphop influences. Though, you'll find some folks tossing around Tamil lingo, depending how far east you go.

im not exaggerating, ill say at least half of the white youth say somali, and ive seen a white grandmother use it in a mocking waygemini07 wrote:smh, you're always exaggerating.fighter wrote:My ears! my head hurts from this crap![]()
theres nothing more annoying then the youth in toronto, acting like jamaicans![]()
white ppl here all know a few words in somali and "say walahi" is said by everyone, even old white grandmothers (that is how bad it has gotten).
might as well put "say walahi" in the canadian dictionary.

"Say Wallahi" has unfortunately become as common as scrambled eggs. You are living under a rock or you are an ajnabi Somalimashallahbro wrote:White ppl are few and inbetween around Dixon. Thats where the few prolly heard "wallahi".. nuff said

Na last time I been to Dixon was last summer. Constantly traveling and Toronto street slang is either white ppl slang or jami slang the latter is annoying to hear. I notice the Somali youngins in Toronto around the inner city try and speak the bakardi slang
