Twist wrote:After I read some of the comments in Youtube I watched the video again & listened to the story but mmm .. no.. just something doesn't add up. Initially I didn't bother watching it & just thought she was married underage and had those children when she was in Africa but she's saying she got married at 11 in the US & had her first child when she was 12? Really? :|

Plus, is it only me or they're reading the script from a computer? Just follow their eyes when they are talking.

@ 2:22, when she talks about in which grade she was in when this happened she goes "I was in third a aaa" and changes to "sixth grade at that time". Allahu a'lam but something seems fishy!
This is the typical reaction female abuse victims get from male chauvinist pigs.
"She's lying"
No reason for a woman to lie by posting such a personal and humiliating video on the internet. Do you see her asking for donations? NO you fool, she just wanted to share her story.

I don't know about the authenticity of this story. However, the problem of domestic violence in all its manisfestions: physical, verbal and mental abuse exists in our communities and women are pressured not to seek recourse for vairous reasons: ninka waa la xiraaya, yaa ku masruufayo, ninka ha dacween, carrurta abahood was laxiraya then waa la dhoofinaaya blah, blah. Then one hears stories like ninkii isaago bacmadow sita ayaa gurigii laga eryeey. Probably, that is the price the man has to pay for for the wife not going to the authorities. Couples need to try family counselling/therapy with-out interference from family members. No need for is xagxaagsho, aflagaado iyo gacan ka hadal.

Greenday, what has gotten into you? Don't you realize you're breaking the cardinal rule of feminism: never question another woman's abuse story.

Talo alle udaa, as a humanitarian I believe it's my duty to guide self hating women to the truth and dignity of feminism.

Second cardinal rule of feminism: It's never the women's fault. Through action or inaction, men cause all the problems.

This is an insult to women and you dont even know, we are aware of our actions and the consequences of it, you dont tell women you are blameless in everything you tell them how to be a better judge of character.

Third cardinal rule of feminism: Never blame an unliberated woman for opposing feminist ideology. Blame the men who brainwashed her with misogynist propaganda.
