Muslims taking the birthday of the Prophet PBUH like the Christians have done with Issa (as). SMH

If the Prophet PBUH didnt celebrate his birthday, nor did his companions, then why celebrate it?

Mawlid of Prophet Muhammed { Sallalau 3alayhi Wa Sallam } is celebrated and an official holiday in every Muslim country except Saudi Arabia.

Good its a day of evil and bid'ah.

We celebrate the Prophet's birthday every week by fasting monday and thursday just like the Prophet legislated for us.

A lot of the traditional/Sufi masjids celebrate Mawlid every Monday and Thursday. It's not a once a year thing for them at all.


So would you join them on those days in fasting and praising the Prophet?

That's the nature of bidca. You start with a simple celebration, next thing you find yourself dancing around a decorated tree, waiting for some fat dude in a red costume to bust through your roof with presents

Mawlid was celebrated for hundreds of years, and that hasn't happened to this day and will never happen.

^enlightened it's ok, they probably believe since women in the west use cars to go to their sinful relationships, if muslim women drive a car they will do the same. So we should not let women drive. Or else there will higher bastards, gays, theft, and more girls being born, which means things get even worse. What a world.
