i think i would disown my brother if he paid more than 15K for a wedding. And it didn't include the meher.

Max wedding budget = 15k sterling and that includes gold, meher, party, food, gabati and money for furniture, appliances and general house stuff. Any more than that, then to hell with her

I'm actually having a big fat wedding...planning to do things Somalis aren't used to. For example, telling everyone to bring me a gift at the wedding in order to enter...gift for me=entrance for you

including meher 15K is actually reasonable
You can agree to pay for the wedding now, and whatever remains of the 15K a year after marriage.
