K1's lame compared to UFC. Bigger names, better fights, and less of a circus. I.E No Mike Tyson's joining for "fun."

I'd rather go to the gun range and practice my aim. Shooting is quite a fun sport. Nothing beats squeeze off a few rounds into a target.

A very useful skill to have incase you get another Katrina.

Ya know, that's a GREAT idea. I've been to the Ontario Gun Club twice with a security guard friend of mine, and it was AWESOME! I rented a .357 and a .45 ACP. Most awesome shooting experience i've ever had with handguns. Up until that time, our "range" consisted of an old field behind my buddy's house on the Reserve, shooting at an old bombardier snowplow for a target! Laughing
Very barbaric ...isn't a sport!

Kicking some's asz feels good though! Wink
At it's core, yes,it is quite the barbaric sport. That aside, I also enjoy a good boxing match. There is a science to it that belies the barbarity. Seldom do there seem to be goot matches nowadays, or so it seems.

Ultimate fighting is barbaric as well and makes me think of the gladiator fights in Roman times. We haven't changed much, as a species. Again, however, I find myself enthralled with watching it when I stumble across while channel surfing. Very Happy

I feel ya there. I live in Canada, and we don't get HBO! Mad But Spike is part of regular cable. You'd think the Germans, being lovers of combat, would carry it.

Boxing is a great sport, requires real heart. Now I only fought three rounders, but imagine what it must be like to go 10 rounds? Commentators refer to some guys derisively as "journeymen" but going 10 rounds requires incredible stamina and heart. Only a boxer can truly appreciate it.
