Re: Who said Xabashi girls are not attractive
You should differenciate between xabashi girls and Eritreans.
They may look alike but they are very different.
The main difference is hygiene because Ethiopians stink i dont know why it must be a cultural thing.
You would come across this supermodel looking chick and make your move get close to her, and bang...
next thing you know you are gagging and possibly nauseous , from the stink..
the stink is from all over their bodies, and god help you if she opens her legs...
I still have this gag reflex whenever i come across a xabashi looking girl, even in an office setting.
my mind tells me " thats an attractive women" but my body just wants to void my stomach contents and i go towards the walls to
get a grip on my balance.
Now Eritrean girls are very different they do not stink and have impeccable hygiene.
They smell very good actually..
this is a mystery is there a cultural factor here?

Habisha are majority good-looking people, but their hygiene is just horrible. Actually it's not only the habasha who have bad hygiene but all ethiopian more or less except the Tigrinya who are also the majority of the Eritrean people.
And this is just mysterious because water shortage is not big problem in Ethiopia (at least the places I've been to) unlike for example Somalia and other places in Africa.

actually water shortage could be the core of the problem since ethios live on less than 2L of water per day.. and maybe it has something to do with the raw meat too!ManD333q wrote:Habisha are majority good-looking people, but their hygiene is just horrible. could be but I don't think that's the reason even with water access these people are dirty as hell..I've seen more water shortage in Somalia than ethiopia, but again I've not been to every part of Ethiopia. Ethiopian get much more rain than somalis , I have driven between Addis and Hargeisa and believe me Somalia is desert compered to ethiopia...bal may roobka iskaga meeydhaan.Mondey wrote:actually water shortage could be the core of the problem since ethios live on less than 2L of water per day.. and maybe it has something to do with the raw meat too!ManD333q wrote:Habisha are majority good-looking people, but their hygiene is just horrible. Re: Who said Xabashi girls are not attractive
Actually the problem is not a water shortage, Ethiopia has some of the largest rivers and lakes in Africa and its highland territories rains pour most of the year, in fact they have flooding problem time to time, the hygiene problem has to do with their culture of avoiding daily shower, unlike Somalia where the land is lower altitude and you can take shower middle of the night without not much cold and shiver to worry about, most of the central part of Ethiopia is located highland territory that sits 5000 feet above Sea level, it gets cold in the evenings and mornings there is no water heaters available and taking a shower one risks getting pneumonia.
This culture of avoiding shower is mostly practiced in the Ethiopian highlands, Oromos and Ertreans are much better cleaner than those in the highlands, So in the Highlands because of this fear of contracting Pneumonia they developed a culture of not taking shower for several days, this led to them see normal and some still practice that way even when they are in the Diaspora and there are plenty of warm water available , I also noticed this hygiene problem is mostly concentrated the non muslim Community of Ethiopia, most of Muslim Ethiopians are clean, I visited and ate food with them in the past the homes of Ethiopian Muslim friends who belong to the Amhara, Gurage, etc and their Homes were up to good standard Hygiene.

The weather aspect is plausible. I think a number of cultural groups are a victim the type of food they eat. The Ethiopian Injera is often cooked with a special chilli pepper called berberi, and this specific smell seems to emanate from every Ethiopian you come across. Although at first its pleasing, and makes the food taste good, its odor is so strong it sticks to their clothes and homes and you can't smell anything but that hot spicy chilly pepper.
The Desi community and some Arab community also overuse onions in their dishes, and other herbal extracts which if not cleaned develop an atrocious smell. So much so that you begin developing these stereotypes, and as soon as you see individuals from that community you become cautious.
