What shops might that be? As far as i am concerned the Dhs in Burco were not much different from the illegal Ogaden refuges in Hargeysa who were kicked out by the SNM. It was all part of Siad Bare's plans to try and plant Faqash in Isaaq cities, but thanks to the heroic SNM those plans never materialized.

how can you be illegal in your own country? yeah we all shared a country and that means every tribe lived across the nation, your own habar yoonose was settled in Gedo.

Dhulka sow anigu ma lihi

Firstmost they were illegal refuges because they were Ethiopian nationals and not Somalia nationals those Ogs that Siad Bare tried to settle Hargeysa. Secondly they were illegal in the eyes of the local residents as they were not native at all to Maroodijeex/Waqooyi galbeed nor had any ancestral connections to the land.

how can somali people who fleed to the somali republic to get security from the habashi genocide be ethiopian nationals? :? damn

you are a young educated man who lives in the worlds largest immigrant nation, how can you be so narrow minded? do you know how back ward you sound talking about this tribe don't belongs here .... we are all somalis the same people, we should share all the land. You live in a multi cultural socity where different races share land and you are talking about different tribes  :x

I should have known you are just a typical Faqash trying to hide behind Somalinimo something your people have contributed to it's destruction when cornered with the facts at hand. At the end of the day everybody belongs to a group and a territory, Somalinimo does not mean much. I think by now everybody knows it, the past 40 years has proven that  .We are just like the Arab tribes in terms of tribal system who for the most part each have their own territory and country. Deal with it and move on, Somaliland way duushay. :sland:

The Ciise Muuse live with the H.Y in the west section of the city. Burco has a lot of potential runtii, but unfortunately even the H.J reer Burco community are investing more in Hargeysa than in Burco these days.
Walaahi some of the most interesting names they've got there lol . I can safely say that I know 3 things about Burco:

1) Higher religious activity compared to other cities, this is something noticed by even visitors (read it off a travel blog),more scholars etc.
2) Humorous folks (even their actors are funnier than Hargeisans  )
3)Ciid cas.

I remember when I first went to Burco.. I was in the market and everyone just kept dissing me.. I felt like crying  Like proper humorous hardcore disses.. But they weren't serious about it.. I've never laughed so much in my life..

 @ Hodan Qaylo.. Burcawis know how to pick names/nickname.. Classic!
