They are just weak, and Islam doesn't want weak women like them representing it. So good riddance.

Allahu’alam, but we do have to realize that the greater challenge is perseverance in intention rather than consistency of the act itself

It's hard to be a Muslim woman in western country, when we're not being beat to death with tire irons we're being slut shamed by our own communities. smh.

I feel sorry for them, saddened. However, their imaan is weak, and they might have been brainwashed into believing that the hijab isn't mandatory.

daiman wrote:I knew a convert sister ( English though I suspected that she was Jewish origin....). She argued with me that women without hijab but who prays and fasts are practising Muslims. I said no, the first thing for a practising Muslim do is to observe hijab ie to cover up her cawrah. Then she told me that I do not know anything and that those sisters are Arabic speaking sister so they know better
She herlsef wore hijab though.

Do you think, I was wrong?
I don't know what her having Jewish origin got anything to with the story here, or what she says? It is sad when people see the Jewish boogeyman in everything. Similar to how everything evil is being associated with Muslims now-days.

Whilst covering yourself is VERY important no doubt, it can NEVER ever be in the same weight as the prayer, which is ONE of the foundation of the deen.

We are talking about them not covering up when they go OUT. I always see them covering when praying.

On that note, I don't see Somali non-hijabis coming to pray in Universities? Whilst with non-Somalis even if they don't cover-up they come to pray and leave some prayer clothes in the prayer rooms.

It is better to cover-up, but I guess they have to make do. Since they don't want to cover but want to pray they leave some prayer clothes.

somali girls treat the hijab like its their kastuumo, one day they will put it on because they are trying to attract wadaad niggas, next day, they will take it off because some random dyke feminist professor told her its a form of oppression.

How do you people feel about these sisters? Are you shocked, offended, or do you sympathise with them? :|

Seeing this doesn't bother me one bit. In all honesty, its a test to see how many muslim women will follow in their footsteps
