Not only oil, I have been reading some geological surveys too. Look at how mineral rich Garbahaaray is. I know something was in the hilly countryside
We need to get information like this in our hands

Dolomite
Dolomite is used as an ornamental stone, a concrete aggregate, a source of magnesium oxide and in the Pidgeon process for the production of magnesium. It is an important petroleum reservoir rock, and serves as the host rock for large strata-bound Mississippi Valley-Type (MVT) ore deposits of base metals such as lead, zinc, and copper. Where calcite limestone is uncommon or too costly, dolomite is sometimes used in its place as a flux for the smelting of iron and steel. Large quantities of processed dolomite are used in the production of float glass.
A petroleum reservoir, or oil and gas reservoir, is a subsurface pool of hydrocarbons contained in porous or fractured rock formations. The naturally occurring hydrocarbons, such as crude oil or natural gas, are trapped by overlying rock formations with lower permeability. Reservoirs are found using hydrocarbon exploration methods.

This is a very funny topic

voltage posted a topic about oil and the Majeerteen kids get furious they are so angry i don't understand i posted the same map 2 days ago in the Somaliland section Monk of Mogadishu came in and started all being emotional what the map had to do with Somaliland or what horn Petroleum had to do with the Somaliland republic as a whole . Its like the Majeerteen Caruurs on Somalinet want people to ask them permission if talking about oil projects is allowed.Don't get me wrong i was the first to welcome Puntland oil Drillings and i so hope that oil is found that means there is also lots of oil and other resources in other parts of Somalia and also in the Somaliland republic. But the Puntland Childeren need to stop this insecurity if there is oil in Gedo it will benefit the entire people of Southern Somalia not just Gedo. If you people just forget about the silly clan Battles over who is more superior and who is not Oil means business it will better the lives of the entire Somali race we all move back home even advo oo ku asaasaqay Maraykanka.
