Quran is fairly small in size, it's not that big at all. I just haven't read it all in a language I understand

How do you reconcile this comment:

In my heart of hearts ive always accepted that Islam is perfect in every aspect and if i couldnt understand something it was due to my follies and not my diins.

With the fact that you haven't fully read the main holy text of Islam? Don't mean to put you on the spot bro, but it's something that's always intrigued me when people say that.

I tried in Somali/English.It felt awkward and weird and i doubt i understood much of it.It was not the whole Quran.

Nope, there are only some verses endorsing 'modesty' for both men and women but it is never explicitly stated that veils or beards are mandatory.

The hadeeths were written/corrupted several hundreds of years later somewhere in Central Asia. The Quran should be the primary source.
