Republic,

Once upon a time there were some clans in the middle of a harsh desert , they were competing on everything : land, history religion etc...
The shrewdest claimed coming from Makka, followed by some claiming Madina, Baghdad etc....
then came the one claiming Harar :D

Mujahid, history of Harar is not discussed with u , the same way History of Makka, Madina, Baghdad etc...is not discussed with claimants hereabove
Know your place jzk

The Galla are possibly the most useless people on Earth. They are the majority in Ethiopia yet get treated like dogs by the Tigrays.

The Galla equal 30 million

The useless, slave Gallaa/Oromos dont claim coming from your cities!
Whereas u guys feel superior by claiming coming from Harar :D

In your Book Harar is equivalent to Makka, Madiina, Baghdad etc...and u claim that your ancestors visited or come from there
just to boast your ego 8-) even when u live 1500 kms from Harar :!:
Admit it ...Harar is in your mind!

Somali history is there to be reclaimed, it belongs to Somalis, take it back.

The truth is in the traditions, the poems and the abtirsis, and lies beneath the sands. It is there, it is not lost.

its in various forms all over the place go and do some research, and if you have a real interest, passion, time, etc. go be like Warsame and write a book.

Majority of Somali history books are written by non Somali's
That's exactly my point! Like where are the historians amongst us? Our history has always been in oral form and when them niggas who were eye witnesses to the accounts of historical events die, some part of history is lost. I think we should take it seriously. I haven't got the time to write a book at the moment but maybe when I go to somalia.
I plan on writing a book in the future Insha'Allah.

Take notes, and pictures, and document it. It doesn't have to be now, but collect things and go back to it in the future. At the end you can go back and put it all together. It's a difficult task, but if you have the will you can do it.
How do you intend to write a book when there's no source material, and every Ahmed and Ayan have their own version of history?

^ Alpha: Some of the makers of history are still alive, very elderly, but still alive. We could begin by interviewing them. That's assuming they're not clan biased either, and Iam sure there are plenty who are not.

Makers of history? If we're talking recent history, perhaps that is possible. But anything pre-colonial is pretty much a DIY.

History has never been objective.

I personally believe in fabricating history as long as you can get away with it.

The truth is whatever you say it is.
