This is unbecoming a leader of Feysal’s caliber. It is the mockery and the laughter that followed which burrow a hole in the hearts of many Somalis. The context here is important; he was referring to a woman who was probably ravenous. It would have been different if the issue concerned another woman say at a wedding.

Yes, “somalis” from Somaliland have contributed enormously to their drought stricken brethren in the south but that cannot be used as defense to support the utterance of these kinds of words.
