sexy-kitten wrote:KingMJ I meant 3-4 months of traveling around the world. Do you now how many family you have all over the world? Times that by 2. Saves you a great amount of money! I vote for B. Besides, I think Tushi is right, why would you get married if you plan on getting tired after the 4th month?
Wait wait wait wait wait. So your saying on your honeymoon travel the world with your wifey and stay over with family in their homes???

HELL NAW!!! I'm saying they can show us around and be our free tour guides as we travel. I'm sure I have family in London, Amsterdam, Denmark, Sweden... Marka ain't nothin wrong with a little tour of Europe with a few cool family members. I don't like staying with family when I travel, no matter how close we are. I'd rather go out to eat or go visit family and then go back to my own room, feel me?

Marriage is the perfect catch 22 situation.

But one thing is for certain: Absolutely no big weddings. Absolutely not.

Tens of thousands of dollars on a 5 hour get together with friends and family. Absolutely not.

Second option is what I would choose. Few months away at some impoverished country, rent a house next to the tropical beach drinking mango and pineapple shakes. On a honeymoon budget of $2000 for the few months (not including air fare)

You guys are crazy for thinking that. I plan on going around the world for a few months. Wouldn't it be nice to have a tour guide? Not stay with them :? That's why I said considering the amount of family I have all around the world, we could times it by 2 and have a lot of fun and meet each other's family!

Not bad sounds good but maybe this is better for saving it for yearly trips not all in one go I dont see whats the point of a long 4 month honeymoon what happened to 3 weeks

I swear Honeymoons aren't meant to be like 3 weeks :|

Maybe include a time into the honeymoon slot for specifically for that but nah.

Go to a place both are new to and explore together.

How did you know? That's my favourite drink and that is what I was really intending. I just didnt add the rum and took away the coconut to substitute it for mango so no one would figure it out what I really meant. I also said impoverished country when I really meant the impoverished territory of Puerto Rico 8-)

I have been planning my wedding lately and although my family is really pushing me to have a huge wedding - the fiance and me are just going to do something small and travel around for a few months with a cruise and a country of my choice
