Eh, I haven't grown up with Somalis, nor do I think I'll attempt to integrate within the Somali community when I'm financially stable, so the thought of random Somalis ostracizing me simply based on who I marry doesn't faze me. I never once insinuated that the "Somali community would be lost without me". Stating that I don't intend to live among Somalis isn't a statement of condescension; it's simply a statement of preference. I wasn't raised in a predominately Somali area, nor have I ever lived in one, so it would be a bit pretentious on my part to attempt to assimilate with the "community" once I'm independent. That being said, it's not like I intend to live in seclusion, nor did I say that I'm going to cut ties with the Somali community either.

But, go ahead with your wonderful leaps of logic, love.
