Language is a tool used for interpreting thoughts into human understandable audio waves. It is basically a translation tool. Maybe what you meant is which language gets priority when you have a thought and your mind wants to translate it? That depends on the person you are talking to. However, your primary language is the one you use when something happens suddenly, things like "Oh my God!", etc.

Now that I think of it, I do too. So, no, not weird at all.

Here is the interesting thing about this question-- what ever language predominates in your thought and dreams is your primary language.
The language you find yourself dreaming, making schemes in your head, is your real primary language.

i do believe one could strengthen a language by trying more to work the brain into thinking in such a language.

I don't know if this is unusual but I actually think in my own language, I speak 3 languages fluently so sometimes its a mix of those, and you have to remember thoughts are not always speech but also images including something as simple as colors.
