Khalid ali,

you seem to be very gleeful of Somalia's most trying times, the 4.5 formula is a necessary evil which will always be present even if it is kept under wraps. Formalizing it now rather than later I believe saves lives and is good for the Somali psyche in the long run. As you can see no one qabiil can be independent and amount to anything without building an effective alliance with others. Money, elections, and campaigns are always intertwined and might be harder for a country such Somalia to demarcate where one begins and the other ends. As PO alluded to, this election will be decided on who has the most money and not who has the best plan.

Hopefully we will have full fledged parties in the future which people see the economic, development, and other tangible services that is brought to their communities and solely base their voting decisions on that.
