This used to be my Thursday afternoon routine. I would close the office after duhr. I would drive to my house and have some serious chow down of bariis, hilib aari, moos, salad, maraq and some nice zeytuun juice. I then would shower and take a long nap until Asar. When I got up, my housekeeper would have prepared Casirya and I would ask my nephew to buy me some fresh khat. I would then chew with my nephew who would always bring some chicks from somewhere and we would graze until well after midnight. I ended up calling my nephew, Lawnmower, because of his efficiency at mowing down the khat. My friends would also come to my house to graze because unlike them I was a bachelor and so could host them and their girlfriends.
Those were the days !

He was 20 and was grazing before I met him.

I helped him chew in a safe, clean environment and provided him with life coaching skills. A family that grazes together, stays together !

http://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news ... shut_down/The unauthorised sale of a legal stimulant used by Somalis has been stopped following an outcry from neighbouring businesses.
Khat was being sold and consumed at a garage at the rear of the Indian Ocean restaurant on Streatham High Road near an award winning jazz club and Streatham Business Centre.
But earlier this month the council and police stepped in to shut it down because the business was not abiding by trading legislation and because of complaints about noise and anti-social behavior.
