Wow, gurey. I give u great effort on your very long paragraph argument. You deserve an A. Everything u wrote, I agree with. But I still maintain the Romans governance impacted the world favorably. (whether humans learnt from it or not) Also, my real point of argument was that did the governance bring civilization? The oligarchy governance that romans brought as u put it-- was later adopted by my other favorite empire-- the British. (now u can guess why I like the Romans in the first place lol) We are not talking about the perfection of democracy here, just pure civilization. True democracy did not come until the French revolution. And true civilization did not come until the renaissance period. (from the period of 14th to 17th century, in which u RIGHTLY say European advance in science was post 17th)

Overall---we mostly agree--we r just two souls of opposite team. U team of Muslim dynasty, and myself the European civilization.

I've been saying this for years

There's a video on YT I watched a few years ago how Ayan Hersi Ali (before her athiest days) would drink wine but when faced with Islam criticizers, she would get angry at those who insulted the deen and bash them (of course that isn't the case anymore ).

Somalis r quite the hypocrites

The Mighty Ajuuraan Empire - The defeaters of the Portugese and Arabs - The Empire that kept the foreigners off the Somali Peninsula.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajuuraan_state
The Ajuuraan Empire had a standing army with which the Gareen imams and the governors ruled and protected their subjects. The bulk of the army consisted of mamluke soldiers,[24] who did not have any loyalties to the traditional Somali clan system, thereby making them more reliable. The soldiers were recruited from the inter-riverine area; other recruits came from the surrounding nomadic region. Arab, Persian and Turkish mercenaries were at times employed as well.[25][26]
In the early Ajuuraan period, the army's weapons consisted of traditional Somali weapons such as swords, daggers, spears, and bows. With the import of firearms from the Ottoman Empire through the Muzzaffar port of Mogadishu, the army began acquiring muskets and cannons. Horses used for military purposes were also raised in the interior, and numerous stone fortifications were erected to provide shelter for the army in the coastal districts.[27] In each province, the soldiers were under the supervision of a military commander known as an emir,[24] and the coastal areas and the Indian ocean trade were protected by a navy.[28]
