It's always been win-win situation for me. Jubbaland, has my name on it and my guys in Kismaayo, and in the FG has my name and my guys in Xamar. I never felt threatened in anyway, you guys made it a life and dead issue.DANGIRL wrote:Like he had a chance to begin with, but what's really funny is how the ones that opposed the formation of Azania all of sudden support it (perfect idiot being one of them)

Besides, the President isn't going anywhere, and his voice will be part of the process.
The president is clearly against that. I mean there is seriously something wrong with you people if you think any somali president will allow that to happen in his country. Waligaaba naftaada been u sheeg sxb !original dervish wrote:Hassan Sheikh is the "president", nobody is disputing that fact.
However, the establishment of Jubbaland is a local initiative with IGAD backing.
The "president" attempted to usurp the Jubbaland process, as outlined in his speech in Beletweyne.
In doing so he was acting against the federal constitution, which clearly stipulates state formation should be in the hands of the locals concerned.
Sheikh Hassan has made a U-turn and now accepts the right of local people to form their own local administrations.
This is good news for all parties, and hopefully we can establish Jubbaland state asap.![]()
