I think you're supposed to fast for three days. At least the prophet used to. I was joking about the snakes. :lol:

^ The prophet (saw) didn't fast ashura, if I read the ahadith right :? He said he would fast on ashura but died before it happened. From my understanding, you fast either the day of ashura alone, or the day before + ashura, or ashura + the day after.

Elite, you have to fast at least two because the Jews fast on today marka you have the choice to fast a day before or a day after or all three.

Green: I think if you start and Friday and continue on 'till sunday then that's different from fasting a Sunday only.

Considering how he's been slating all the Somalis who can't speak fluent Somali thread after thread....it IS a big deal. He claimed to be FLUENT in Somali! :down:
