We went from a mid table team to challenging for the top 4 every year for the past 5 years. Two consecutive years in a row we only finished one point behind Arsenal. This didn't happen because they were pure class but rather because we dropped the ball. The gap has shortened and no longer are they superior.

The situations are more similar than you think actually. At least Benteke handed in a transfer request and thus forfeiting any loyalty bonus he would have received should he have transferred. I can bet you all the money in the world Bale wants to go to Real Madrid. You'd have to be stupid to reject the best team in the world for frankly, the 3rd best team in London whose highest PL finish is 4th and have never done anything of note apart from a couple of league cups for over 40 years.

It's funny though the way your chairman operates. He tried to haggle with us over our prized asset despite us having no reason to sell, and now he's rejecting 85M pound bids . f-king hypocrite. Real best team in the world? What have they won this year? Champions League, la liga, Spanish super cup? Even their coach left their arse. Further more, our highest finish in recent years was 4h in which we are going to improve this year. In addition, there are no reliable sources out there linking us to benteke, especially with quotes from spurs official, let alone Levy.

Well they're certainly the biggest team. Semi-finalists of the competition you can't get in, in the past 3 seasons so yeah it really is a no brainer if I were Bale. I actually quite like Tottenham, my brother is a supporter...but the way they've reportedly tried to mess with us leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It would be a shame if Real Madrid manage to take the best player of the PL again, as he's a joy to watch.

We can get in the competition as proved last year. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Chelsea did something by accident which took us out again. Again, we never tried to mess with Villa. Blame your player not us.

Yes, they have been average the last couple years but they are building a stronger team at the moment. Then again, so is everybody else.

I think they'll win it personally. Probably the best squad + Mourinho. Definitely favorites.
