Who said I'm rushing into anything? I'm just stating my opinions and feelings on the matter -___-Perfect_Order wrote:TeAmo, you may not realize it, but you are still young in the big scheme of things. Why worry about polygamy, marriage, etc, when you have so much time and you don't have to rush into things. Just enjoy the moment and take it day by day, cross that bridge when the you get there.

Meaning?Perfect_Order wrote:it's not even a big issue, the percentage of polygamist marriages especially for those under 30 I wouldn't even say it's 5 %. It's not like you are dealing the chances of it at 70% or higher. And you still hopefully have many years before you reach marriage, and by then you will be so different and better insha'allah
I was being genuine and not condescending. TeAmo has always come across to me as the type of person who thinks either rationally or extreme. In this case, she's thinking extreme once again. And, everybody knows ain't nobody got time for that.Perfect_Order wrote:TeAmo, you may not realize it, but you are still young in the big scheme of things. To me, it feels like there is too much societal/religious pressure for girls to be trying to grapple with this issue, when even much older women have a harder time. I find it strange when in religious conferences young girls always bring up this issue. I find it a bit sad, since polygamist marriages are not even the norm or even close to it. Also, marriage is already hard enough, and our communities are quickly catching up with this societies divorce rates of over 50%, why even complicate it more?hipsterrunoff wrote:TeAmo has always come across to me as the type of person who thinks either rationally or extreme.
