A little bit of attraction is extremely important, I reckon.. I have waswis issues and I can't seem to hide it..

For me no it is not possible. yes personality, intelligence and ethics matter but i must be attracted to her first.

Easiest answer based on instinct is "No". First impressions do matter and it is why we are obsessed with looking good generally speaking. Then follows if the beau is a psycho or not. Cause, real life experience teaches some people that a beautiful psycho only burns them at the stake and life becomes unbearable, whereas settling for less attractive person might be acceptable to that problematic existence. Experience shapes people as they age and many of the black and white stances they took in their youth goes away or moderates.

A more logical thinking about the question says it is possible to get married to someone you are not deeply attracted to. If there are no alternatives to your first choices, for example, you settle for less. If we also believe our destiny is written for us at inception or prior, then despite our thoughts and expectations in life, we may end up marrying someone we are not attracted to, or we may not. Nobody can say for sure who they will end up with.

We all hope for the best always and we adapt and change based on experience we go through.

Of course. Somalis have done it for centuries. You grow to love the person. Those ones are sometimes the most successful, because they are not based on sexual attraction. Meaning the attraction fades out, and mark my words it will, u have nothing else to hold on to. At least with arranged marriage of no attraction, u have something mystical to work on.
