In a democratic society as that of Somaliland the people who feel that the political process of the country is not going as the direction they want. Their voice will be the opposition parties not a clan elder or a clan committee now the fault lies with both the government prepossessing to much on the opposition parties and it lies with in the communities of SL who think their clan committee can get things done in a modern democracy. The people of togdheer are the same people as the people of sanaag sool saaxil maroodijeex and awdal they need the same basic services from their government.The out come of our harsh forced democratic system concludes the ways our political institutions are implemented in our society which preferences the societal inputs into the democratic process of Somaliland. No one is addressing the real problems of Somaliland all i here is clan talk our clan was left behind we want a shared balanced power sharing in togdheer which could be their good right. But thats the least of our problems today.The real issues we are facing is that Somaliland is youth are losing hope and have no jobs the infrastructure of our country is below average there is huge mismanagement in the country the parliamentary institutions hasn't been been effective the past 3 years. Somaliland elites those in the country and those abroad should make sure that the government focus on how to internationally legitimize our Maandeeq , instead of being busy with fighting of mayor ships in various Somaliland cities by the government. Right now we are being forced to be preoccupied with an election that made the entire country talk about clan politics.
