Abaayo, how does that make sense to you? The Nabiga csw was forbiden from accepting sadaqa, but he gave out sadaq to the muslims. So, if muslims give out sadaqa to the muslims on his mawlid, then they are following his sunnah. Unless you thought people were giving money n camels as sadaqa to the nabi? Though that is impossible to do since the nabi asw is not alive. Also, Saudi Arabia is the only country that doesn't have a national holiday for mawlid, even ask hyper, government and schools close for mawlid, it's really not a big deal as we try to make it. Also, carabta are not the sole possessors to Islam.

1- Making a specific calender day for dikri and salat on prophet is Bidca (something not in sunna or practiced by salaf). it should be throughout the entire year.
2- Going to a grave to ask "help" and "qurban" from prophet or awliyaa is shirk. visiting graves should only be for Cibra and to pray for the dead and ask forgiveness FOR them.
On point 1 I agree with you, except that just because it's not something not in snna or practiced by salaf doesn't mean it is automatically wrong. It should be done throughtout the entire year, and I know weekly gatherings where people come for that special purpose, not just once a year.
2. I agree with you, but you mustn't forget that some are not like the majority of us. The prophet scw doesn't need us to pray for him, but we benefit ourselves from praying for him, even though he is dead scw.
