While the MBTI can sometimes seem insightful to people, they're not 100% true for 100% of people who take these tests. We are all individuals and differ, even within the same type. Also note that the description states "may have" and "if the INTP is not/has not" developed some sort of sense of specific place or cognitive function, then the following might be true for them. So since that portion clearly does not fit you, then that may because you have developed your sensing functions to a sufficient level, you may find that warmth and support come easily to you, and you may not have issues with social rebellion and other things.

Another possibility is that if your scores for some codes (ie. T and F) were close to equal, then you could be more F than T. That's just a possibility but if you're interested in knowing your type, it may help to read some short descriptions of the different types here to find out which you are most like.

From the descriptions listed on that site, I'm most likely a weird mixture of INTP and ISFP. Nice thread by the way.

lol I can understand that feeling. If you want to see personality typing that takes it to another level, check out the enneagram tests. It's more focused on one's internal world than MBTI, I think.

The questionnaire might not have been very thorough but that's because I chose a test that was faster and simpler to take. There are more thorough tests out there that may provide more accurate results but they are usually longer. But since the description seems to fit so well, it's probably spot on.

I will check it out those enneagram tests.

In the West - or at least in North America, introversion is seen to be some sort of pathology in my opinion. I don't think there is a link between education and preferring extroversion. Although it does seem like introverts tend to be nerdy or bookworm-ish and there does seem to be many of them in higher institutes of learning, education does not change one's preference for extroversion or introversion, in my opinion. It really depends on the culture. Even when talking with those who have been in university for a while, who teach, or have PhDs, they often try to "change" me so that I lose my introversion. It can get pretty annoying too. It is kind of like how racists don't tend to change their racist opinions after getting a university degree.

You're so right about Somalis having a sort of herd-like mentality. I don't mean to pick on my own people, but it is true. One year, all of my cousins and family friends are living and studying in Malaysia and the next they're somewhere like Uzbekistan. I suppose following the group may strengthen solidarity which would have been helpful for nomads for whom such bonds and collective decisions were vital but today it is out of place.
