I wouldn't say I disagree with your 'mule' proverb. It is accurate. We need a good beating otherwise, we tend to see u as none sense. The very act of sex involves 'beating'. I knew this somali lady who was married to a non somali. He used to beat her, and whn that happens she used to run to and stay with Somalis in the area for a few days. One day some Somalis tried to dissuade her from going back lakin one reer waqoyi accented guy said "Waar iska daaya (fill the blank) basbaas leh bay u baratay oo ma dayn kartee.. lol We used to call her heblayo basbaas.salool wrote:Why do some women stay with these men who keep beating them day in and day out?
