loooooool miskiinta waa lagu goobtay you should have not burst her bubble like that.salool wrote:CushiticReflections wrote:No, I think he was right. His sister committed sin but they were talking about her disrespectfully. His friend committed sin too by engaging in that behaviour with her and in gossiping. No one should have to sit by idly and listen to their family member being gossiped about or objectified. He does not have to hide the identity of his sister because she is somehow shamed. She and that boy both committed sin so they are both shamed.MenaceToSociety wrote:war what is wrong with you folks... lets put the moral issue aside for once... am asking you guys, wasnt the "other guy" pretty dumb to reveal that he is the brother of that girl? just answer that...
So I think he was right to say something.
@AgentofChaos and MenacetoSociety:
This is just a friendly reminder. You're both violating forum rules 1 and 3:
1. Treat other members with the respect they deserve. This should go without saying, but treat others like you would like to be treated!
3. Insulting and flaming or personal attacks against forum members and staff will be not tolerated.
Walle you're new to this forum..
Menace, shamefully we are all full of double standards. If the Elyas guy said the same stuff about farxiyo instead of zuleeqa you would have seen more gossip and banter about those girls. No one would have gave a damn yet truly speaking, all muslim girls should be free from our tongue and ill speech, especially if its related to zina, it is dambi kabaair to speak ill of a girls chastity..anyway I sense the young lad who burst out did so out of natural reaction but if he did confirm this zuleeqa girl was his sister then he would have been better off confronting Elyas in a more general manner and not say so explicitly that she was his sister. Because its a possibility the whole family has now been given a tainted reputation and would cause more stress on the loved ones.

well every female is someones sister, mother and daughter so remember that next time you wanna start talking shit about them. as for your story the guy is right about defending his sister what kind of person just sits there and listen to their family being trashed like that, you put much importance in the fact that the other guys don't know it's his sister, but imagine when they find out and he was just sitting there doing nothing about it-.
btw. what kind of men watch wedding videos is this common or it's just your friends:

I don't find any reason to place you in my ignore list as many of your posts are enlightening or humourous. And the mods deleting your account seems drastic, in my view.AgentOfChaos wrote:
It's nothing personal, he asked for an honest opinion, and I gave it to him, that's all. And if you have a problem with the way I write my post, then it's probably best if you put me in the ignore list so you don't have to see my posts like most people here, problem solved. OR mods can just go ahead and delete my account, either way is fine with me to be honest.
As there are forum rules, I just thought that all forumers were obligated to follow these rules. But as I'm beginning to see, they are neither enforced or followed. The post about the rules does state that members are expected to help the mods when it comes to inappropriate posts. I do not seek power nor do I assume that I have any, I'm just trying to do my part as an equal member here.
Every forum I've been on had rules that were enforced and followed. This is a place where people seem more strange in that they don't pay attention to the rules in the least bit nor is it enforced. I don't think that following or suggesting that rules be followed is taking things any more seriously than getting riled up by another forumer's comments and posting hateful comments in return. I'd say that is taking things too seriously...MenaceToSociety wrote:@Cush... you are turning into a weird human being...Are you seriously ok....You realize this is just a stupid little forum where no gives a dam... Oh, I've always been weird. Thing is, you didn't notice it before.
