Tell that to thousands of Turks driving around the city in their own Car's day and night out. Obviously the city is not fully safe but the British like to exaggerate.
I don't think it was an exaggeration on their part, they were right on the money which leads me to believe they have credible inside sources. Next time they say terrorist attacks are imminent, I'm inclined to believe em.

It is not as easy as it seems. These people have assimilated into the local population and unless the neighbor or someone who knew they were in Al Shabab ours them, than its not easy. There are certain areas of the city where Al Shabab has Fan's and support.
Except for the Seybiano neighborhood. Those folks were antiUIC, antiShabab consistently and never wavered :blessed: Until the outskirts are secured in places like Dayniile, Huriwa, Kaaraan, Dharkanleey etc are secured, the paradises that are Xamarweyne and Hodan will be vulnerable.

what a failure the fufus and their prostitute have turned out to be. the youth will return soon.
Somalistar,

The Chief Justice is a major crook. If he got killed, a lot of people wouldn't mourn this thieving fool. As for the Mayor, he has always been flamboyant and needs a strong media manager.

As for Jubbaland, from your statement, I sense you swayed back to the backwards tribal frame of mind. Is that so akhii ? :whoa:

Ditto, these niccas got informers and was highly probable something like this was going to happen. A period of quiet from AS means that they are plotting and the only way to get peace from them is to constantly be fighting them and harassing them. If they regroup, then its bad for the FG.

This is the price of recruiting Ceyr tribal militias.
They are using this as a bargain chip to be treated favourably by the regime.

As long as hutuking types are roaming Xamar the city aint safe.

Karaan is probably the most secure part of the city now, everyone and their mama knows the entire population of that part in the city were always Anti Shabab and probably paid the heaviest price when they captured most of the city. After all Al Shabab named us as Gaalo. Dharkanley and Wadajir are the only districts they couldn't capture and was host to most of Xamars population at one point. Hodan is a mess and they did heavy digging and damage to it. Dayniile is probably the only district in the city where I can say Al Shabab has heavy support and presence. I personally avoid Bakaaro,, most high profile hotels and gathering places.

I agree.
I chill in Kaaraan often and stay as late as 10 PM. At night, people sit outside of their houses and chill back.
I feel very safe in that area.
