Listen, Kaftanku waa mutual, in this case its not. The nickname Mocambique started as a mockery by AW iyo HutuKing so the question is, why are you using it? Xiinow raali ma ka yahay? When I pointed that out, you came with lame excuses and then you got mad, markaa hadal inooma hadhin.

Xiinow, Kismaayo use to be the 3rd capital in the country. Hadeer waxaa ka hormaray Gaalkacyo iyo Beledweyne oo horeba tuulooyin ahaan jireen. Amniga bay sheegayahaan laakin tolow sadex madaxweyne amni ma wada sugi karaan?

I made a fuckin thread about it and someone deleted it. I even addressed that same issue in this thread, obviously you cant read but since Im wrong dee waxaad dooneysan isku sameeya.

i must say that is a good point, and i did express that view on the mogadishu thread. However, its seems alshabaab's activity in mogadishu has been reduced closer to nothing due to the recent tough measures of security in place

No one wants to attack Kismayo. It's a irrelevant city.

Kismayo is a town of 130,000. There are at least 5 cities south of Galkacyo that are bigger than Kismayo.

The reason why there is close to no development there is because of a variety of reasons such as a port that is nearing collapse and a dilapidated airport that is always closed. If the Muqdisho airport were to close for a day, there would be chaos. Not in Kismayo. It's a small town. There is nothing special about Kismayo. It has been surpassed by a few cities in the two Shabelle provinces (that originally started off as farming communities) in terms of population and economic activity.

Kismayo is also a city without internet access. I have read some people's tweets online where they have said they had no access to the internet until they left that place and went back to Muqdisho. Ever wondered why there is always conflicting or vague stories coming out of there?

Another thing: even the "Kismayo" folk deem it as a useless place for development. There are many people from that area who are in Muqdisho as we speak trying to start businesses or get their homes back and start their new lives there. They come from Europe and North America and go straight to Xamar without even going to their "original cities". That itself speaks volumes.
