Were you expecting a walanweyn President to support Somaliland independence Rightwing stop being so naive my friend, no walanweyn President will support Somaliland unless he gets something in return hassan is the latter one.But there are walanweyn Presidents who consider Somaliland an enemy state they are there 2 , hassan is harmless with his i want union and what not. He is just dancing to the tunes he has not the resources the manpower to enforce this. But he wants a union now that is not a real problem for us I am more interested how hassan deals with kenyan proxies and Uhurro Kenyatta and the TPLF neutral stance although and igad meddling in his affairs the TPLF wants to see a jubbaland but they do not want to openly support it. The Kenyans are in full support now with the presidents it will be very interesting. See rightwing walanweyns are not like us , in our political culture physiological behavior. The walanweyns do not tell the truth they would claim they are true nationalists when they are hard core tribalists. Walanweyns do not tell the truth of what they really believe and where the stand some would hide behind the Kenyans and Ethiopians and with indha adayga claim they are the most Somali patriots ever. In the Somaliland culture its more honest there is a saying beeni maxay tari booramaan ka yimi eh. Walanweynians will never come clean nor will they ever reconcile as people because they believe everything is fine the civil war is over we have a government dawladanyada wala aqoonsaday hada dawlad banu nahay. While huge segments of the country is using neighboring countries to achieve tribal objectives only in Somalia and divide the country. Even in Somaliland the dhulbahante would say very honest war isaaqow idinku isaaq baad tihin kufurti bilaahi anana daarood banu nahay waxba isku darsan kari mayno see its part of the SL culture to be politically honest. But walanweyns they would go on and on about the constitution indicates this and that, and federal states cannot be formed because point hebel says this and point hebel says a committee needs to be formed. Back to me and what i believe i believe in a strong united Somaliland recognized by the international community with a thriving economy. I do not support Somaliland to be under any other country. i do believe though Somalia stability and unity is also in the interests of our long term interests. But for now we have to stay and watch from the sidelines. I also believe Mogadishu and Somalia is good for our enterprises and our companies to invests in any parts of the horn. It will only be good for us.
Now where do we stand with hassan we will smile with him we will drink qaxwe with him we will talk about the future we will try to agree that the best way for him and for us is to go separate officially as friends not as foes he would raise his eye brows and reject that. He would say than union is better lets stay united we will give you this and that but lets maintain the union. Somaliland will rejects and he rejects No problem we are happy with that when that happens we will jointly address the international community that the talks failed officially and call for international mediation it can be a long process but we have nothing to lose we will already receive trainings for our troops we can still militarize our troops, and we still receive aid. We have hired international lobbyist for our cause.And we have the Somaliland development corporations in tact to bypass the litigation that withholds SL from doing trade with sovereign nations. We have already succeeded we raised the Somalia and Somaliland case to an international level and it will have that status in the near future to. It can be a long process probably few years time. But we will still have our sovereignty something no one can take away from us. And some how its good that Somalia rejected Somalilands independence because we have been nearly fight for 32 years for our right place in the world , 10 years armed struggle against Somalia. And 22 years for recognition and our right place in the world It showed that the people of Somaliland are committed united in their nationalistic goals it will be part of our history as people. few decades from now we will say ma xasuusateen berigi citraafka u dagalamayney. There for everything is really good and Rightwing u should not read into much of what hasan our friend in mogadishu says about Somaliland because he just wants to say the right things so that his people have hope he does this because he wants to create hope for his people. See walanweyns have no hope with out Somaliland it will be a catastrophe if he agrees with Sl independence. But slowley by slowely they are accepting it takes time for acceptance. So give the man a break willl yaa.
