True. France has lost its influence in djbouti when djbouti leased their camp lemonnier to the US, there is also the US africom base. Djbouti port has been leased to dubai port for 30 years.
Djbouti is againist somaliland because of its port barbara as ethiopia lives through djbouti and pays for them $720 million annually plus their strong trade through the ethiopo-djbouti railways. Ethiopia pays in US currency since dubai started managing the port and they want to up the rate, this made ethiopia to construct its own port in tajura, they laid the corner stone in there.
I would like to ask you about the djouti-somali relations back in the 80s, my info says from al haj guleed interviews with arabic media that siyaad barre was dreaming about having djbouti too and that his position was to have an equal brotherhood relationship with somalia but barre was telling him at times that he has an army from mogadisho to zaila!. From what I got the wrong was from siyaad barre side but anyways what was the djoubian position from the somali-ethiopian war? Did they sided with anyone? Were they were closer to ethiopia or somalia or were just neutral?

Daarood have deported fellow daaroods from Puntland to please xabashis their fellow Tribal members
Daarood value IGAD ethiopia and their stance on Jubbaland more than any other Somali, all we hear iGAD this IGAD did that

Lol there is no Amharic radio station in Somaliland can you tell me the name of the station first i have visited Somaliland many times never heard such a thing , i have been Ethiopia even lived there and if you have followed Ethiopian politics Amharic language is being extremely reduced. And its now only in the Amhara kilil used as the working language in national offices, While since 2006 in addis ababa the oromo officials communicate in oromo and the Tigray officials in Tigrigna and the Amhara do it in Amharic. Maybe you heard Amharic music is played in hargeisa markets yes they do that the same with arabic music and adari music. But there are no Amharic radio stations in Hargeisa unless you wanna tell me about that radio station. Second Etv Kilinka shanaad TV is being watched in somaliland and oromo channels because of the satellite, but i am sure they can watch that in Somalia to. So what are the daarood kids saying , you have these opinions because you are daarood you wouldn't have them if you are Hawiye and DM its something that is strictly for you. You have to be proud of your daaroodnimo and you share these sentiments towards Somaliland its normal we are used to it. We know what we can expect. Xabashis are not a threat to us , Xabashis the TPLF are arming oromo militia to take daarood territories in Ethiopia. And they already gave them a number of districts to oromia kilil.
