Achieve goals and fulfill expectations.

"Happiness" is a sham. It doesn't exist. It is as factual as the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Chase it all you like, you'll never find it if it itself is the goal. Happiness is simply a temporal byproduct of success. The parameters of success are to be determined by the individual. It lingers but is ultimately fleeting. You may flirt with it at times, but soon find yourself regretting decisions and forming new paths hoping to take you elsewhere.

Happiness should be a non-factor in life. When you place all your hopes for being happy into one project, person, or place, it will never work. Place it in yourself. Make yourself a better person. Achieve the goals you set out for. Benefit those around you. Maybe then happiness will be forgotten.

YOLO :geek:

With due respect, that was a statement from Ali bin Abi Talib (ra), so unless that filthy monk (i say filthy because they have condoned the killings of masses of innocent Muslims) stole the quote and made it his own, it's cobblers.

OP, i think the key to unlock the secrets of life can never be found. Happiness is very subjective because an individual can be happy with something that brings unhappiness to others. It is hard to define a good trait based on universal principles of ethics and morals which are forever conflicting and in disagreement. In my own case, i only strive to keep a clear conscience in everything i do. Feeling guilt brings me unhappiness and unhappiness leads to more unhappiness.

the secret is being content with what god gives you.
and having a happy marriage, while also practicing your deen.

simple as that, ambition is good, but you should not sacrifice everything for ambition,
and money is not that important, happiness is .
the happiest people on earth are also the poorest.

Can you elaborate on that? :ohhh:
It's simple. It's all about knowing what you want, waiting for the right opportunity, and taking advantage of it before someone else snatches it away. And ignore the rest.
:wtf:
Does this thingy that is just waiting to be "snatched away" have any say in the matter?
